Nanotether Discovery Sciences (Nanotether) Ltd is a company spun out from Cardiff University. Its aim is to bring high quality, easy to use and fast technologies to assist the process of understanding biomolecular interactions in the huge and high value drug discovery market. Following seed investment from Fusion IP Plc, Nanotether secured a Series A investment round of £2.25m, from Andrew Black, founder of Betfair Plc. Over the past two years Nanotether has completed a demonstration of the core technology and developed a proprietary instrumentation system.
