The core technology underlying Nanotether’s commercial offering is protected by a cluster of international patents and trademarks. Additional patent filings, covering other aspects of the Nanotether technology, will further bolster this IP position over the short to medium term, with a particular emphasis on protecting the lucrative consumables market that will provide an important revenue stream to the company.
The core patent filing (WO 2007057644) has been granted in the United States, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. This filing is pending in Canada with grant expected during Q4 2014.
