The championships were held at Attingham Park on 9 Jan, in very muddy conditions. Congratulations to Louix, Georgie and Arthur who all qualified for the Intercounties in March and well done to the U13G and ‘legendary’ U17W who got full teams out – the U17W were rewarded with a bronze in, what was for some, their last race for the club.

The third sportshall competition was held at Wenlock on 10 Jan. It was a day of mixed fortunes, but congratulations to our U11G who came first on the day. The U11B and U13G both finished second, the U13B and U15G were third. We go into the last competition on7 Feb with the girls lying 2nd overall, the boys in 3rd and the club as a whole just about clinging onto second place. The U11B and U13G are, unofficially, both lying in first. There’s a lot to play for – the sportshall league is usually very tight and places can change right up to the last minute.
